CUTMaster 320 SE
This spreading table was built for a manufacturer of window curtains.
Request
The customer who reviewed our offer asked if we could prepare a special version of the table for spreading material. The widest version of CUTMaster allowed for unwinding rolls up to 240 cm wide, but he had much wider ones – 320 cm.
Solution
We reviewed the design, agreed that it was feasible, and built a reinforced version for wider rolls. During installation, we discovered that narrower rolls (less than 320 cm) caused the tube to bend in the middle. To overcome this, we added a simple center support system.
Table Unwinder
Lifting heavy rolls onto the spreader was another problem.
We designed a special unwinder that can be placed on the table top. Instead of lifting rolls high onto the spreading machine, operators now lift them only slightly above the table level.
The unwinder can be removed from the table when not in use.
Final Result
Our customer couldn’t find an existing spreading machine within his budget that could handle 320 cm rolls. We were happy to take on the challenge and build him a wider version.
During installation and daily use, challenges came up — tube bending and heavy roll handling. We worked together to develop simple practical solutions for each issue. The result was a machine that works for his business as he needed.
