RollMaster 310 SE

This project was designed for a fabric wholesaler specialising in curtain materials.

Request

The client enquired about cutting tables to cut curtain fabrics to size. After reviewing our standard RollMaster, he asked: ‘Can you make it work from both sides?’ He wanted to place it between his fabric roll racks and cut from both sides. ‘That’s actually clever,’ we said. ‘Let’s build it.’

This kind of practical thinking is exactly what we enjoy working with.

Solution

We used RollMaster Super as the base and created a dual-sided version. The mirrored cutters on both sides let the table fit between his fabric roll racks and work as two independent cutting positions — he got twice the capacity in the same space.

Mirrored Cutters

Each side works independently — the operator picks the side nearest the material and cuts from there.

We shortened the front section to a minimum to save floor space.

Basket Unwinder

One side of the table uses a basket unwinder for the roll that needs to be cut.

On the other side, the material is unwound from the customer’s existing rack.

Final Result

The solution met our client’s needs completely.

Two tables he bought gave him four cutting stations. Orders are handled significantly faster — exactly the improvement he was looking for.

Applied Solutions

  • dual RollMaster Super cutting system
  • pneumatic pressure bar at each side
  • basket uwinder for large rolls

Customer Review

“The table SAMEX manufactured for us has made a real difference
in handling our orders. This was a real break-through and now
we can focus on enlarging our offer and scale the business.”
